Nom Nom Nom 2012 Cook Off Winners
>> Monday 9 July 2012
The afternoon of the 8th July 2012, saw a very important tournament taking place. No it wasn't just Andy Murray in the Wimbledon finals, but the Nom Nom Nom cook off. The finalists had spent weeks preparing and Sunday was crunch day when they would be putting their menus to the test in Cookery School's professional kitchens, with their trusty Magimix food processors and all under the eye of an esteemed panel of London's leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.
You'll be able to judge & vote for the finalist menus yourself when their records of the day appear on this site in a couple of weeks time. But on Sunday it was the turn of our Expert Judges to give the food the ultimate taste test. After a morning shopping in the local area, the finalists had two and half hours to prepare a three course menu & wow the judges with their regional dishes.
So without further ado the winners were:
1st Place: Chorizo Chicas AKA Victoria Glass (Alphabet Soup) with last minute help from Rosana McPhee (Hot & Chilli)

Many thanks to Magimix, Bakery Bits & Dorling Kindersley for the prizes for the cook off and the finalists have a chance to win more when you judge them in the Viewers Choice vote.
We'll be uploading lots more pictures from the event in the next few days, so you can see all that went on. In the meantime, you can bag yourself a chance to win some great foodie prizes yourself by entering our charity raffle for Action Against Hunger.
