Nom Nom Nom on iTunes - Londonist Out Loud Podcast
>> Saturday 16 July 2011
I was lucky enough to be part of the Londonist Out Loud Podcasts last week and got the opportunity to talk about Nom Nom Nom (amongst other quirky, interesting & topical London news of the week - Tube challenge, London Myths and the anniversary of the 7/7 bombings).
If you download the podcast on iTunes (it's free) and zoom along to 32:40 that's where I start talking about NomNomNom (the Tube challenge chat is right at the beginning if you're interested). Also if you then fast forward to 42.08, you'll hear that I manage to get in a plug for our charity raffle in aid of Action Against Hunger.
It was fun doing the panel discussion and we got talking about London food in general. I recalled Londonist's efforts in the first ever Nom Nom Nom in 2008 where they set about making a wonderful London themed menu.
As is often the case with complicated concepts, they do take a lot of practice and even though the idea of making a BT Tower out of polenta or a Millennium Dome Dessert sound great on paper. The finished results might not be err.... well, listen to the podcast and you'll see how I try to dig myself out of a hole. Sorry Londonist!
Thanks to host N Quentin Wolf from making the whole podcast experience a lot of fun.
Those without iTunes can listen to the whole podcast on Londonist.
